Bluebird day

I just returned from skiing in Colorado for a few days with some friends. It’s an annual trip we make and this year was one of the best we have had. We had fresh power two of the three days we were there. And Friday morning, we had this wonderful blue sky to complement the fresh snow that had fallen overnight at Vail. In Colorado, they call these “bluebird days”.
I took this photo using the panorama feature on my iPhone. As much as I wanted to stand there longer and soak in the scenery, I was ready to dive into the deep powder and make some trials…like you see on the left side of this photo. What a day!
